Day 3: Paihia – Cape
Reinga – Paihia 08.00 All day trip to the
northernmost tip of New Zealand, Cape Reinga,
with lush rainforests and lovely beaches along
the way.
Day 4: Paihia - Auckland
10.00 Departure from Paihia 14.20 Arrival in
Auckland, hotel check in and free leisure time
in Auckland City.
Day 5: Auckland –
Waitomo – Rotorua 08.30 Departure from
Auckland, driving through the unique farming
region of Waikato. 11.30 Arrival at Waitomo
Caves. Guided exploration of the Caves, followed
by an underground river cruise where thousands
of Glow Worms (which are found in only three
places on earth) light the ceiling above you.
For those who would like to see more, there are
two additional options available. The first
option is to stay at Waitomo and try black water
rafting. This involves swimming on pontoons down
a deep and dark underground river system.
The second option is to drive to Hobbiton, one
of the more famous filming locations for the
Lord of the Rings movies. Both these options
add approximately 4 hours to your travel
schedule.
15.00 Arrival in Rotorua.,
followed by free leisure time. 17.00 There is
the option of trying out the Polynesian spa
pools, naturally heated waters rich in healthy
and relaxing minerals.
Day 6: Rotorua
Exploration 08.00 Your self drive Rotorua
Exploration begins with entry into the
Whakarewarewa thermal reserve, a truly
spectacular, almost lunar landscape of endless
geothermal activity, including geysers and
boiling mud pools. 11.00 Next enjoy the Live
Sheep and Farm show, where you will get a real
taste of Rural New Zealand. 13.00 Entry into
Rainbow Springs, where you will see numerous
native New Zealand Animals, including the Kiwi
and the Tuatara. 18.00 Transfer from your
hotel to the Tamaki Maori Village, where you
will get a taste of the traditional Maori way of
life, as well as eating a traditionally cooked
Maori dinner. Late evening return to the
hotel.
Day 7: Rotorua – Wellington
08.00 Departure from the hotel driving south via
Lake Taupo (the site of one of the largest
volcanic eruptions in history), and the central
Plateau (home to 3 active volcanoes called Mt
Tongariro, Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Ruapehu) to
Wellington, New Zealand’s Capital. 16.45
Arrival in Wellington, followed by free leisure
time.
Day 8: Wellington – Picton –
Christchurch 07.00 Hotel check out and
drive to the Wellington ferry terminal. Rental
car return at the ferry terminal 08.25
Crossing the Cook Strait by ferry 12.00 Ferry
arrival in Picton, followed by rental car pick
up. Begin your drive down the East Coast of the
South Island to Christchurch. 18.00 Arrival
in Christchurch, followed by free leisure time
to explore the city.
Day 9:
Christchurch – Mt Cook – Queenstown 08.00
Departure from Christchurch, driving along the
Southern alps towards Queenstown. On the way you
will get stunning views of New Zealand’s highest
Mountain, Mt Cook on the far shores of Lake
Pukaki.
For the more adventurous, there
is the option of a helicopter flight for close
up views of Mt Cook, as well as a landing on an
alpine glacier. Allow an additional hour for
this attraction.

arrival in Queenstown, followed by free leisure
time.
Day 10: Queenstown – Milford
Sound - Queenstown 07.00 Departure from
Queenstown, driving via Te Anau and next to the
beautiful lake of the same name, along the
Kingston, Eglinton and Hollyford Valleys and
through the historic Homer Tunnel to Milford
Sound. 13.30 Cruise on the Milford Sound,
with the option of a lunch onboard. 15.00
Return drive to Queenstown, with endless
stunning scenery along the way. Evening
return to Queenstown.
Day 11:
Queenstown 08.00 Drive to the historic
mining town of Arrowtown, with gorgeous
Victorian style buildings and shops. For the
more adventurous traveller there is the option
of a bungy jump. 16.30 Return to Queenstown
18.00 Ridt to the top of Bob’s Peak on the
Skyline Gondola. At the summit enjoy a relaxing
dinner with panoramic views of Queenstown.
Day 12: Queenstown – Fox and Franz Josef
Glaciers 08.00 Departure from Queenstown,
driving via Lake Wanaka, through the Haast Pass
to Westland World Heritage Park, where you get
up close views of two of New Zealand’s most
famous glaciers, Fox and Franz Josef. 14.00
Arrival in Franz Josef, followed by free leisure
time to explore the surrounding region.
Day 13: Franz Josef – Greymouth – Christchurch
09.30 Departure from Franz Josef, driving North
along the spectacular West Coast of the South
Island. 12.00 Arrival in Greymouth, another
famous town from the gold rush years. Free
leisure time in the city. 13.00 Drive east,
via Arthur’s Pass and the Canterbury Plains on
your way to Christchurch. 18.00 Arrival in
Christchurch, followed by free leisure time.
Day 14: Christchurch - Melbourne 04.00
Drive to the Airport and rental car return.

Arrival in Melbourne, transfer to the hotel by
pre-arranged shuttle where you can check in your
luggage. Free leisure time to stroll around
Melbourne.
Our recommendation is a river
cruise on the Melbourne River, as well as
visiting the Melbourne Museum.
Day
15: Melbourne – Philip Island – Melbourne
Morning free leisure time. 12.30 Pre-arranged
pick-up from the hotel. Boat cruise to Philip
Island, where you will see penguins swimming in
the ocean, as well as Koala Bears and
Kangaroos in their natural habitat. Late
afternoon return to Melbourne.
Day 16:
Melbourne – Cairns 07.00 Pre-arranged
airport transfer 09.35 Departure from
Melbourne 12.50 Arrival in the tropical city
of Cairns, followed by transfer to the hotel.
Day 17: Cairns – Green Island – Cairns
07.30 Pick up from the hotel for all day tour to
Green Island. The cruise is on a catamaran with
stunning coral reefs below the surface of the
water, and golden sand beaches on the island.
This is truly a great way to experience tropical
North Queensland. Evening return to the hotel
followed by free leisure time.
Day
18: Cairns – Kuranda – Cairns 07.40 Pick
up from the hotel. Enjoy a historic train ride
through unforgettable scenery to Kuranda. Learn
about the history of the area, including the
gold rush years, and have fun shopping at the
town markets. Late afternoon return to Cairns is
also by train.
Day 19: Cairns – Ayers
Rock 08.00 Transfer to the airport
09.45 Departure from Cairns 12.05 Arrival in
Ayers Rock followed by transfer to the hotel.
14.40 Pick up from the hotel, followed by a tour
around Ayers Rock with a guide. The tour
concludes with a stunning sunset over Ayers Rock
and the red desert.
Day 20: Ayers Rock
– Alice Springs During the early hours of
the morning you will be picked up by bus and
taken to see the sunrise from a beautiful
vantage point at Ayers Rock. There is also the
possibility of climbing to the top of the rock.
You will come into contact with the Anangu
tribe, where you will learn about the Aboriginal
way of life. 10.00 Return to the hotel for
check out, followed by free leisure time
13.20 Departure from Ayers Rock by Bus 18.30
Arrival in Alice Springs, followed by free
leisure time.
Day 21: Alice Springs
05.15 Pre arranged pick-up from the hotel for an
hour long Ballooning flight over the Outback.
09.30 Return to the hotel 14.00 Bus pick up
from the hotel followed by a tour of the area,
including panoramic views from ANZAC Hill, as
well as well known attractions including the
Telegraphic Station, School on the Air and the
Royal Flying Doctors’ Service. 18.00 Return
to the hotel followed by free leisure time.
Day 22: Alice Springs – Darwin 10.00
Transfer to the airport. 11.50 Departure from
Alice Springs. 13.50 Arrival in Darwin and
transfer to the hotel. Free leisure time to
explore Darwin follows.
Day 23: Darwin
– Kakadu National Park 06.30 Drive out of
Darwin, via Nourlangie Rock to Kakadu National
Park. Here you will see the largest swamps in
the world, as well as ancient aboriginal lands
from 2000 years ago. Next is an entry into the
Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, for a good
look at the Aboriginal People and their Culture.
Evening arrival at the hotel.
Day 24:
Kakadu National Park – Darwin 07.30 Check
out and departure by bus from the hotel. Travel
via the Arnhem Land to the East Alligator River.
Cruising by boat on the East Alligator River,
you will see the dangerous yet spectacular
alligators and crocodiles on the river banks.
Following the river cruise, the bus continues
on, with late afternoon arrival in Darwin.
Day 25: Darwin – Perth 07.30 Pick up from
the hotel for morning tour of Darwin. 10.00
Return to the hotel for check-out. 13.30
Transfer to the airport. 15.10 Departure from
Darwin 17.30 Arrival in Perth, followed by
hotel transfer and free leisure time.
Day 26: Perth 09.00 Pre-arranged pick up
from the hotel. 09.45 Start of the Swan
River cruise, which takes you to the historic
port city of Fremantle. Here you can learn about
the history of the Australian prisoner colonies
and other aspects of British settlement in
Australia. 15.30 Return cruise to Perth,
with premium Australian Wine tasting onboard.

27: Perth – Sydney 09.30 Transfer to the
airport 11.30 Departure from Perth 17.40
Arrival in Sydney, followed by hotel transfer
and free leisure time.
Day 28: Sydney
07.50 Pick up from the hotel for Sydney tour.
The tour includes the famous suburb of Rocks,
the Sydney Opera House, the Botanical Gardens,
King’s Cross and Chinatown. Also take a few
minutes to relax on Sydney’s Famous Bondi Beach.
14.00 Cruise on Sydney Harbour, with stunning
views of the city from the water.
Day
29: Sydney – Blue Mountains – Sydney
07.50 Pick up from the hotel for an all day trip
to the Blue Mountains. On the return journey
enter the Featherdale Wildlife Park, where you
will see numerous Australian animals in their
native environment. Afternoon return to
Sydney, followed by free leisure time.
Day 30: Sydney 06.30 Transfer to the
