Taupo, Tongariro National Park, and the Desert Road

Day 8: Wellington – Picton - Christchurch
Travel from Wellington to Picton across Cook Strait
to the South Island. Registration onto train for
afternoon arrival in Christchurch. Transfer to hotel
Day 9: Christchurch – Mt Cook - Queenstown
Morning transfer from Christchurch via Cantenbury to
Lake Tekapo, continue travel to Queenstown.
Day 10: Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
Transfer from hotel, travel along Lake Wakatipu,
Homer Tunnel, Cleddau Canyon to Milford Sound. Boat
Cruise on Milford Sound. After cruise return to
Queenstown via Kingston, Eglinton, and Hollyford

All day browse of Queenstown and

Day 12: Queenstown –Fox / Franz Josef Glaciers
Transfer from hotel, travel via Wanaka and Haast
Pass to Westland World Heritage Park with

Day 13: Fox
Glacier – Greymouth – Christchurch
Travel via
West Coast to Greymouth - and continue journey by
trans alpine train via Arthurs Pass to Christchurch.
Transfer to hotel
Day 14: Christchurch
Walking city tour, shopping and transfer to Airport.
