Why study in New Zealand?

If you are considering studying overseas, in an English speaking country with a safe and friendly environment, think of New Zealand. An island nation in the South Pacific, with a population of only 4.2 million people, New Zealand has become one of the most popular study destinations for students from all over the world. From the urban jungles of it’s main cities, to the unspoiled wilderness, crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches and scenic mountains, New Zealand truly has a little bit of everything. Activities and attractions are endless. From bungy jumping to snorkelling, a student will never get bored, and even a weekend road trip out of the city will bring unforgettable impressions and memories, along with hundreds of photos.

Current legislation allows the holder of a student visa and permit up to 20 hours of employment per week, which is an excellent way to gain further independence, learn good time management and earn some extra spending money. Please note that this amount of employment is not able to cover the majority of the costs involved in studying and living as an international student in New Zealand. There are services in place to help international students look for potential employment.
